In
support our customers and to provide a full service to them,
Optima Systems is able to supply hardware and software to meet
any requirement. We source all of our hardware from reputable
dealers only and any purchased software is guaranteed to be genuine
with full and proper licensing.
As always we offer impartial advice to all of our clients during
the decision making process and are quite happy to leave the
actual ordering to the client where there is a price advantage
for them to do so.
In an
emergency we can often get parts sent directly from our suppliers
to the client for next day (sometimes same day) delivery if the item
is in stock with us. In either event we are happy to install
and commission but equally happy for the customer to install
if preferred. Where the client has ordered equipment of software
themselves we are quite happy to install and configure on
their behalf as long as the equipment in question is suitable
for the task and/or is correctly licensed.
Optima
Systems will not install or support unlicensed software products.
Optima
Systems specialise in the supply of all types of equipment from
a wide range of manufacturers and in giving impartial advice
whenever a purchasing decision needs to be made.
Our strength lies in our
ability not only to recommend IT solutions but also to implement
them. We are well aware of the various pitfalls that can
be encountered when building systems, so by careful planning
many of the common problems in complex computer equipment
can be avoided.
If in doubt ask!
In
an expanding company, possibly with many older pieces of equipment,
it is essential that all of it be used where possible. Even
though prices for computer equipment have fallen dramatically
over the past two or three years the replacement cost for existing
machines and support hardware could run into many thousands
of pounds.
It is our belief that it is not always necessary
to replace an existing system just because it may be using
some old technology. IT systems are built up utilising the
equipment available whenever possible and only supplying new
equipment if absolutely necessary or if the business demands
it. Older equipment can often make a useful contribution to
an overall system and sometimes, with a suitable upgrade, can
be transformed into a fast powerful machine which is a pleasure
to use.
In all cases the cost benefit case is carefully considered
before any final recommendation is made and careful discussion
with the client before any purchase.
