Networking - Maintenance and Support
Optima Systems provides a comprehensive support service to our clients covering Hardware, Software and Infrastructure issues. Our services also extend to regular system reviews and audits combined with essential patching and ‘tuning’ of your systems.

We can provide support either over the telephone or on-site as appropriate. Those clients who take out a support agreement with us benefit from a faster response and lower charge rate however support can be provided on an ‘as required’ basis if preferred.

We pride ourselves in building strong, friendly relationships with all of our customers by integrating ourselves into your company and ensuring we never confuse users with “techno babble”.
Hardware Maintenance
In addition to hardware support, Optima Systems can also provide full system or infrastructure support covering network, cabling, software, printing, communications and PC's. We can also assist in disaster recovery scenarios.
Where possible we try and solve any problem either over the phone or by connecting remotely to the system. Failing this we visit onsite to rectify any problems. It is our aim to slowly educate users rather than “just fixing” the problem. This can avoid the problem being recreated which in turn means less support calls and this of course equates into less cost.
Most companies will have an existing computer system that is in need of housekeeping from time to time. Many companies cannot justify a dedicated member of staff to look after the systems so the task often falls to a senior manager with IT skills. This is where Optima Systems can step in.
Call Us When You Need Us
Optima Systems can carry out an audit and then offer to look after your system on an as needed basis. This is more expensive per hour compared to other schemes but if you require assistance infrequently may be ideal for you.
Regular Visit
For piece of mind you may want Optima Systems to visit your site at pre-arranged times say 1 day per quarter to check over your systems and ensure all is well. Such checks would include;
Backup working correctly
Restore working correctly
Anti-Virus system up to date
Anti-Spy ware up to date
E-Mail system not blocking up
Disk space adequate for business
Because the visit is pre-arranged it attracts a lower hourly charge but may provide vital early warning of potential problems or threats before they occur.
Service Plan
This is our most popular scheme whereby you purchase some hours support in advance (at our lowest rate) and use them as you need them. Once the hours are used up an additional block can be purchased as needed. This scheme also attracts preferential response times and a free initial site survey prior to support starting.

The number of hours purchased each time will depend upon individual requirements.
